Laura Ashley's 'Design a T-Shirt' Competition Offers Kids the Chance to Help Those Less Fortunate than Themselves

Much as we adore our children, there's no denying that the summer holidays last an awfully long time - especially when the hot weather seems to have taken its own summer holiday, inconsiderately packing up and deserting UK shores just in time for school to break up.

Miserable days cooped up indoors are a recipe for "but there's nothing to do!" disaster so, as any mother will know, keeping idle hands busy is essential. What better time to nurture your young one's creative talents by encouraging them to put pencil to paper and enter the Laura Ashley Design a T-shirt competition?

The contest runs until September 10 and is open to entrants aged 2-8. Entries will be split into two age groups (2-5 and 6-8), with a winner and two runners up being selected from each. Your young artists can choose one of two themes to base their picture around: 'days at the seaside' or 'picnics in the park'.

Two winning designs will be featured in the new Laura Ashley Girlswear collection (due to launch in Spring Summer 2011) with the selected artists also winning a ?250 Laura Ashley giftcard each.

In addition, 100% of the profits from every winning t-shirt sold will go to Barnardo's children's charity, meaning the competition is also a great opportunity for your children to help kids less fortunate than themselves.

Topshop Launches Christmas Fashion Film

Topshop has launched its new Christmas fashion film, which highlights the key trends for this year's Christmas period and the party season.

The festive fashion film is directed by Angelo Pennetta and features model Ashley Smith and stylist Francesca Burns showing off the hottest pieces for the Christmas period this year.

The video helps Christmas party-goers create some beautiful looks, whether they plan to stay in with friends or head out on the town.

Some of the keys trends this season include diamante scattered fishtail gown and sequin shift dresses which create the Christmas sparkle. Any look can be toughened up with the help of lace-up boots and chunky knitwear to help keep out the chill on the cold December nights.

The Christmas period is also about tassels and textures, so the addition of leopard print or faux fur can keep any outfit right on trend. And as its Christmas, it's important to sparkle, so anything with sequins or gems will look perfect.

The new festive fashion video shows that a variety of looks can be created from Topshop's latest collection, no matter what style customers are going for, as there is something for everyone. Looks can differ from beaded knits, leopard print coats and capes to party frocks with huge bows and pearl encrusted heels to the grungier look of ankle socks and lace-up boots.

Any Christmas look can be topped off with lashing of eye-liner, smudges of kohl and red lipstick, as shown in the video and created by make-up artist Hiromi Udea.

The Topshop festive fashion film can now be viewed on Topshop's website.

National Employment Lawyers Association Supports Law to End Workplace Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity

Discrimination Act (ENDA), which will protect employees against discrimination on the basis of their sexual orientation and gender identity.

The National Employment Lawyers Association advocates for employee rights and workplace fairness while promoting the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and judicial integrity. NELA was founded in 1985 to provide assistance and support to lawyers in protecting the rights of employees against the greater resources of their employers and the defense bar. NELA is the country's largest professional organization that is comprised exclusively of lawyers who represent individual employees in cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, employee benefits, and other employment-related matters.

ENDA offers this Congress the opportunity to enhance workplace equality by protecting lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and gender non-conforming people from discrimination in employment. Congress should pass ENDA without delay. Although all arbitrary discrimination is wrong, it is especially egregious in the workplace. Employment discrimination takes a toll at the most basic level: income.

ENDA does not only protect lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered employees from discrimination ??it protects any employee, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, who is perceived to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. It also bans discrimination against workers who associate with lesbian, gay, and gender-non-conforming co-workers, and prohibits retaliation against those who oppose unlawful practices.

As employment lawyers, we know that sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination is a serious problem. Every day, NELA members field calls from people who have lost or been denied jobs, or who have failed to receive promotions, because of their actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity. Unfortunately, we have to tell most of these people that the law does not protect them. As a result, hard working, qualified employees are denied opportunities for reasons unrelated to their ability to do the job. A few examples follow:

??nbsp;   Robin Shahar ??Attorney

State of Georgia Department of Law

Ms. Shahar graduated sixth in her class from Emory University Law School, was an editor of the Emory University Law Review, and clerked for the Georgia Department of Law. Despite those outstanding credentials, the Department withdrew its job offer after learning that Ms. Shahar is a lesbian. The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit decided that Ms. Shahar has no valid claim to fight the discrimination against her.

??nbsp;   Peter Oiler ??Supermarket truck driver

Winn-Dixie, Harahan, Louisiana

After twenty years of being rotated through progressively more responsible jobs in Winn-Dixie's shipping yards, in 1999 Oiler was driving a fifty-foot truck delivering grocery supplies throughout southeastern Louisiana ??until Winn-Dixie learned that he called himself "transgendered." Oiler tried to explain that he simply wore women's clothes on the weekends: he wasn't going to become a woman nor did he want to wear makeup and heels on company time. In January 2000 Oiler was fired and told that his transgender identity could harm the company image.

??nbsp;   Harry Kay ??Product Analyst

Independence Blue Cross, Philadelphia, PA

Mr. Kay faced years of harassment at his job: co-workers pointed at him and bent their wrists; others told Kay he was not a "real man." This pervasive conduct caused him to leave his job. A Philadelphia federal district judge ruled in June 2003 that even though his co-workers engaged in gender stereotyping and harassment, Kay could not pursue a sex discrimination claim because the court found that the harassment could have only been because of his sexual orientation. In so holding, the court referred to a 3rd circuit decision, Bibby v. Philadelphia Coca-Cola Bottling Co., where the court explicitly stated that Title VII does not prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation.

ENDA would provide much needed protection for employees like Robin Shahar, Peter Oiler and Harry Kay, in all aspects of employment, including hiring, firing, promotion, compensation, and most terms and conditions of employment. It would also clarify what should already be clear under present Title VII law: that job-related gender identity discrimination, like that which Harry Kay suffered ??is unlawful.

There already exist some protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees. These protections have existed for years without causing major burdens on employers. Seventeen states, the District of Columbia and several local governments already ban discrimination based on sexual orientation, [California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin have laws that currently prohibit sexual orientation discrimination in private employment. Some of these states also specifically prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. (In addition, six states have laws prohibiting sexual orientation discrimination in public workplaces only: Colorado, Delaware, Indiana, Michigan, Montana, and Pennsylvania.)] as do many corporations, [Corporations include General Motors, Proctor & Gamble, United Parcel Service, Halliburton, Bell South, General Electric, and Citigroup, to name only a few] schools, and universities. [There are over 500 colleges and universities with sexual orientation non-discrimination policies. They include Texas A&M, the California State University system, University of Florida, University of Connecticut, University of Massachusetts System, Harvard University, Yale University, Yeshiva University, and Southern Methodist.] In seven states, courts, commissions, and agencies have interpreted existing state laws to provide some protection for transgender individuals [Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York.] And Title VII prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender identity where the discrimination is based on gender stereotypes. These examples should confirm that ENDA?抯 protections are reasonable and consistent with public and corporate values.

Unfortunately, since neither state and local laws against sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination nor enlightened corporate policies provide American workers with adequate protection ??federal legislation is necessary. Contrary to popular belief, the vast majority of American workers, in most states, have no such protection. Even in states with some legislation, weak remedies and procedures often make it illusory. Federal courts consistently rule that sexual orientation discrimination is not covered under Title VII, and often misinterpret Title VII to leave gender non-conforming people without protection. Corporate non-discrimination policies, while often progressive and well-intentioned, are essentially aspirational, as employees usually have no legal mechanism to enforce them. Without ENDA, therefore, many hard-working men and women will continue to have no protection against discrimination.

ENDA applies only to employers with 15 or more employees. ENDA explicitly does not require that fringe benefits be provided to the partners of lesbian and gay workers. ENDA als Tips: Find Street Fashion Online(may be you can find what you want on the oasap.com) o expressly forbids the use of quotas and does not permit "disparate impact" claims. In addition, ENDA does not apply to the armed forces and will have no effect on veterans' preference programs.

Just a few short decades ago, federal law tolerated, and many Americans accepted, employment discrimination based on race, religion, national origin, gender, and disability. We now look back with shame and embarrassment to a time when bigotry and stereotypes kept capable people out of the workplace or locked in dead-end jobs. NELA strongly urges you to sign on and support ENDA, and prohibit employers from allocating employment opportunities based on other non-work-related criteria: sexual orientation and gender identity.

MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas Manages 90,000-Piece Garment Inventory with InvoTech Uniform Tracking System

The MGM Grand name is synonymous with luxury and spectacular entertainment around the world. MGM Resorts International delivers a winning combination of leisure pursuits offered in settings with deluxe accommodations and exceptional service at beautiful properties from Las Vegas to Macau.

The MGM Resorts International experience is effortless for guests, but behind its polished public spaces is a cast of thousands. Employees work around the clock to keep the company's properties running so smoothly that guests need not give a thought to the operational logistics that make MGM Resort's kaleidoscope of offerings possible.

Jackie Murphy, however, gives plenty of thought to what goes on beyond guests' view. As executive director – uniforms for MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas, he and his staff of 13 uniform specialists are responsible for ensuring that an average of 8,000 employees are outfitted properly in clean, well-maintained garments daily.

Murphy relies on a heavy-lifting solution called the GIMS? uniform inventory control system from InvoTech Systems, Inc. to manage the impressive task of the real time tracking the 90,000 garments in MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas' active-use rotation. InvoTech is the world leader in inventory tracking for hotels, casinos, resorts, and theme parks. MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas implemented the GIMS? system when it opened in 1993, and today MGM Resorts International employs InvoTech's GIMS? Uniform System at 17 of its properties worldwide.

Barcodes function as "a license plate for clothes." System handles 150,000 uniform transactions in one month
"We place a bar code tag in every garment at purchase," said Murphy, likening the code to a license plate for clothes. His staff scans the tags to identify, count, value, and process all items so their location is known throughout the garment's life. This eliminates lost or misplaced uniform pieces. "The GIMS? software tells us when we purchased the garment, who has worn it, when, and how many times," explains Murphy. "We track laundering and dry cleaning cycles and repairs." An illustration of the extensive scope of GIMS? tracking is the fact that Murphy's department handled 150,000 uniform "transactions," like fittings and replacements, in April alone.

GIMS helps MGM Grand keep up appearances with historical data on garment life cycles
Murphy's team relies on historical data in its uniform inventory control systems to replace garments before they show wear. "We have many garment types with varying fabrics and replacement rates. Our system's database is comprehensive and tracks this information."

Accurate uniform use reporting keeps departments on budget
Murphy frequently runs cleaning-activity and aging reports based on historical metrics to guide him in determining what garments must be replaced. "Some manufacturers have prolonged lead times to accommodate our custom colors and treatments, and the GIMS? system allows us to forecast when we will need to replace these items," he says. "Accuracy is essential so we can be confident of the uniform levels we need to maintain."

Murphy's garment database is also essential to budgeting. In addition to tracking a garment's life cycle, the system stores its manufacturer and most recent purchase price. "At budget time, department heads come to me for the numbers on how much they need to include for uniform replacements."

"The amount of time our employees spend in the uniform room is much shorter," says Murphy. "Our conveyor system is networked with InvoTech software. When an employee swipes his or her ID card the conveyor delivers their uniform in an average of less than 30 seconds."

Raúl Ojeda Launches Don Ville Shoes on La Brea; Los Angeles’ Bespoke Scene Gains Premier Custom Shoe Shop

Los Angeles' bespoke scene is gaining momentum with the addition of new La Brea shoe emporium, Don Ville (http://www.donville.com). Don Ville marks the third shoe-related business for Raúl Ojeda, who most recently hails from the Hollywood studios shoe institution, Willie's Shoe Service (http://www.williesshoeservice.com). At Don Ville, Ojeda provides three layers of Don Ville shoe options, giving clients a wide range of choice, individuality and comfort: Full Bespoke pairs, Made-To-Measure, and Ready-To-Wear, the last of which will launch in late-September. Don Ville's 1,700 s.f. space includes an on-site workshop and retail showroom.

Don Ville, which officially opened on July 23, 2011, will also serve as an educational platform for Ojeda, who intends to share his extensive proficiency in the importance of high-quality, hand-made shoes and proper shoe maintenance, with today's modern audience.

"At one point in time, everything was tailor-made…our clothes, our shoes. People understood the importance of investing in a quality item that was uniquely their own. This is now a foreign notion, to younger generations in particular. We'll pay hundreds of dollars each year for the newest cell phones, but won't spend more than $80.00 on a pair of shoes that essentially, carry you through your days…through life," says Raúl Ojeda, of both Don Ville Shoes and Willie's Shoe Service fame, the latter of which celebrates its 55th birthday, this year.

Ojeda continues, "We recognize the importance and value of treating ourselves well, when we spend the money to dine at high-end restaurants that serve inventive, healthy and fresh fare...but as a whole, we don't recognize how a good, custom-made pair of shoes and tailor-made clothes are similarly valuable investments in ourselves and our comfort."

Ojeda has trad women's jackets e craftsmanship in his blood – both of his parents worked in the garment industry in Downtown Los Angeles – but his fascination for the shoe business didn't quite ignite, until after he had owned his first shoe venture for a handful of years.

"When I went sneaker shopping as a kid, I remember looking at many pairs, never finding quite what I wanted. I always wanted some part of each model to be a bit different. But I never really imagined that I would be creating those differences in shoes, later in life," says Ojeda.

In 2001, Ojeda opened "Stop N' Shine", a shoe-shine stand in the Westfield Century City Shopping Mall. The business was just a means to an end for Ojeda, whose pride was in owning a business, not necessarily in the craft of caring for shoes. As Ojeda worked on more and more clients' shoes he began to take notice of the different styles, the varying qualities, and the associated pricing that changed as the quality changed.

The shoe shining business grew, Ojeda hired more staff, and they segued into shoe repair, out-sourcing the repair-work to Willie's Shoe Service in Hollywood. It was not until Ojeda met Willie's founder, Willebaldo Rivera, that Ojeda's interest in shoes really started to grow. In 2004, Ojeda moved over to Willie's to begin his education in shoe-making, with Rivera at the lead.

In 2007, Rivera decided that it was time to exit the business, entrusting Willie's to Ojeda, whose style and customer care was in-line with Willie's reputation and Hollywood history, much of which was built catering to studio execs, costumers and celebrities. Ojeda grew Willie's custom shoe-making line of business to the point that he felt a new branch was needed – a shop dedicated to shoe-making. Enter Don Ville.

Ojeda's styles at Don Ville have classic roots, with his own, modern touches. Each style is almost timeless and seasonless, although Ojeda does pick materials according to seasonal trends followed by his material sources. Ojeda makes every effort to source American-produced materials first, while the remainder of his materials are from Europe.

Ojeda takes the same care with his businesses as he does with his shoe-making. It was tough for Ojeda to separate from Willie's to start Don Ville, and he did not attempt to do so until he had a good friend in place at Willie's helm. Ojeda relies on those closest to him to carry on the traditions that he has furthered and continues to amend. Ojeda's brother bought his shoe-shine business a couple of years ago, and is currently a shoe-making apprentice at Don Ville.

Ojeda realizes that with bespoke work, there comes some education. Future plans for Don Ville include seminars and events aimed at imparting proper shoe care knowledge, as well as the importance of investing in a high-quality, hand-made product, as opposed to mass produced versions. Ojeda also has plans in place to take his "shoe platform", aka "Traveling Shoe-Maker", on the road, traveling to various U.S. cities to educate and spread his craftsmanship and collections. First in line is New York City, where Ojeda has already secured a representative for Don Ville.

Don Ville's Ready-To-Wear Collection of shoes will include classic styles for both men and women, such as ladies oxfords and sandals, and for men, boots with rubber soles, cap-toes, wing-tips, and the male version of the oxford. Retail pricing on some of the Ready-To-Wear models will start at $275.00, and move up the pricing scale.

The Ready-To-Wear Collection leads to the next tier, which is Don Ville's custom-fit or Made-To-Measure Collection. This Collection allows clients to make custom adjustments in fit or detail to existing Ready-To-Wear styles, based on "how" they wear their shoes. Don Ville's Made-To-Measure services start at $275.00, in addition to the purchase of the Ready-To-Wear shoes of choice.

The third tier, Don Ville's Full Bespoke service, includes a complete evaluation of clients' walking patterns and lifestyle, as well as their foot measurements. The process, from initial consultation to bringing home a custom-made pair of shoes, can take up to 12 weeks, and involves at least two fittings.

Ojeda adds, "I've learned from shoe-makers from all over the world, which allows me to mix and match techniques to create the best, most functional and distinctive products possible."

Don Ville Shoes is located at 113 N. La Brea Avenue (between 1st Street and Beverly Boulevard), Los Angeles, CA 90036. Don Ville is open Monday through Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Appointments are highly recommended. To reach the shop directly, please call Don Ville at 323.932.9874. For more information about the shop, please call Anna Ferguson, Stiletto Marketing, at 1.877.327.2656. Xmas Gift Ideas for the Eco-Conscious Fashionista: Skunkfunk Reveals Top 3 Sellers

Manhattan and San Francisco clothing store Skunkfunk (also online at http://www.shopskunkfunk.com) is having their best Christmas ever. Shoppers in the Big Apple and the City by the Bay may not be resorting to pepper spray to get top-selling items like they do at Walmart, but there is a definite eco-friendly fashion frenzy going on.

"It seems everyone is looking for garments that have minimal impact on the environment," said Kyle Retzik, owner of Skunkfunk North America. "Our top three selling items are disappearing quick. They're the eco-friendly fashion equivalents of the Cabbage Patch doll or Tickle Me Elmos of Christmas past."

Skunkfunk's top three sellers are their Izartza, an extremely versatile 3-in-1 wool-blend coat; the Agate, a tunic dress made from organic cotton and recycled polyester; and the Emilene, a sweatshirt made of 100% organic cotton on the outside and polyester fleece on the inside lining. A description of each item follows:

IZARTZA (or Three Part Harmony Coat)
This woven women's coat can be worn three ways, configurable by zipping/unzipping on/off the lower two horizontal sections, providing for three varying degrees of coverage and coziness. Available in cobalt, the coat is constructed from 40% acrylic, 30% polyester and 30% wool, so it is both versatile and durable. Because of its long life expectancy and classic style, the owner can wear it for more occasions and won't need to replace it for a very long time.

AGATE
This tunic dress has a teardrop-shaped keyhole at the neckline. The bird-on-branch graphic is subtle and runs through to both sides. The playful hemline of loose piping can accent the front or be flipped back for some bustle on the backside. It looks great on its own or with leggings. Available in licorice, the Agate is made from 64% organic cotton and 36% recycled polyester.

EMILENE
The most women's jackets versatile and upscale women's sweatshirt this season, the Emilene is thick knit on the outside and cozy fleece-like lining on the inside with a cool collar that becomes a scarf when zipped off. Perfect for keeping oh-so-warm in the winter, this sweatshirt is available in black or navy and features a 100% organic cotton shell and 100% polyester fleece lining.

Skunkfunk's Holiday Gift Guide (http://skunkfunkusa.tumblr.com/) also contains some of their more popular items, according to Retzik.

"There is a phenomenal promotion code on the Gift Guide for items in the guide, so the shopper can save their money as they help save the environment," said Retzik. "We hope shoppers will check us out to see why Skunkfunk has emerged as America's favorite fashion-forward retailer of organic cotton, recycled polyester and Lyocell clothing."

The Spanish-born purveyor of fine clothing is renowned for their eco-friendly fabrics and ethical distribution practices that harmonize with the environment. Their textiles are carefully chosen based upon their low impact to the environment, and include recycled polyester, organic cotton, and Lyocell.

RECYCLED POLYESTER
Polyester comes from crude oil, a natural scarce resource with a low renewability ratio. Recycled polyester is processed in a less energy-intensive way than creating virgin fibers, and it's a perfect option to give a second life to post-industrial remains or post-consumer plastic waste.

ORGANIC COTTON
Organic cotton is a natural fiber cultivated without the use of synthetic chemicals, such as pesticides or fertilizers, and is not genetically modified.

LYOCELL
Lyocell is a light and silky textile made from regenerated cellulosic fiber that comes from eucalyptus wood pulp. The biodegradable fiber is extracted under a sustainable closed-loop process that saves energy.

For more information about holiday shopping at Skunkfunk, or any of Skunkfunk's products, call (415) 692-7678, go to http://www.shopskunkfunk.com, or visit one of their three stores located at 1475 Haight Street (Haight-Ashbury) and 302 Valencia Street (The Mission) in San Francisco or 181 Orchard Street (SoHo) in New York City.

About Skunkfunk
Skunkfunk is a Spanish-born New York and San Francisco clothing store that specializes in environmentally friendly women's, children's and men's clothing. Skunkfunk has stores in San Francisco, New York City, various European cities and online. Their clothing is also sold in multi-brand stores throughout the United States.

ZestNow.com reports the 12 Biggest Mistakes Women Make After 50

Women over 50 don't like to admit inevitable aging but they may be making big mistakes that prevent them from looking and feeling their best. ZestNow reports women need to update their thinking in these 12 areas after 50.

One major mistake is thinking a woman has to have a mate for a full and satisfying life. Women over 50 can entertain, women's jackets travel, go out at night and do almost anything as a single woman.

Hair, makeup and clothes that made a woman look fantastic in her younger years, often are a real mistake after 50.

Clothes need to be of better quality and proportion. Women should realize that their figure has likely changed a bit over the years. The right clothes with the right construction will probably cost more too, but they'll be more flattering.

A mature woman should find her own individuality with her hair style. The fashion trends of her younger days are often a noticeable mistake. She may even discover gray hair can be glamorous.

Makeup needs are definitely different. After 50, skin, eyes, lips have all changed so they need new products and new application techniques.

In order to remain vibrant and active, harmful health habits need to change to include more exercise and sleep. Sex with confidence and freedom is a important positive change women over 50 can enjoy.

The biggest mistake women after 50 make is not changing at all.

90% of 30+ Aged Women Reluctant to Exercise Outside Survey Finds, TrekDesk Offers a Solution

A recent survey conducted by a United Kingdom mental health organization found that 90% of women respondents over the age of 30 were afraid to take part in outdoor exercise. TrekDesk treadmill desks offer a unique alternative for women to gain valuable exercise while working at their desks.

Last week researchers announced that women average less than 50% of the daily exercise levels achieved by men. Surprising survey results announced this week in the United Kingdom shed light on last weeks announcements indicating women over the age of thirty, despite understanding the health benefits of walking, cycling or other healthy outdoor pursuits, were reluctant by an alarming majority, to engage in any sort of outdoor or group exercise.

The survey, based on 1,450 women aged 30 years and above, uncovered huge barriers to women's outdoor and group exercise pursuits. While 98% of respondents were aware of the physical benefits of outdoor exercise low body confidence and low self esteem affected 90% of the women to the point of non-participation. The survey found that 71% of women over the age of 30 preferred being alone or eating comfort food to exercise participation, 66% percent would rather go to bed and 57% chose engaging in social exercise rather than take part in physical exercise.

What barriers are women feeling that would cause them to avoid exercise? Two thirds felt overly conscious of their body shape to exercise in public. 65% doubted their ability to keep up with others in their own peer group. 60% cited negative feelings about their body's reaction to exercise (e.g. sweating, breathless). Two thirds expressed anxiousness about an unwelcoming or cliquey exercise environment, with only 6% feeling they were likely to make new female friends.

The survey also shed light on the level of embarrassment many women over the age of 30 feel when considering exercise. 50% of respondents admitted to exercising only during early morning or late evening hours to avoid being seen by others. 2/3 of the women reported exercising only in locations where they would not be seen by anyone they know. 67% reported wearing baggy clothing in an attempt to hide their bodies during exercise.

"We need to reinforce the message that daily movement is more critical to overall health than regular trips to the gym," stated Steve Bordley, CEO of TrekDesk Treadmill Desks. "The images of perfect body women needs to be replaced with active women of all shapes and sizes that are up and moving. Active people are much healthier regardless of weight and this message, though proven in research is not yet mainstream in society. TrekDesk's movement revolution is designed to help women celebrate health and vitality based on the number of daily steps they take versus the numbers registered on a weight scale. "
